Johnetta is an international performance poet and teaching artist who has worked with many non-for profit organizations in Chicago and abroad. She has worked as a coordinator, community outreach specialist, and performance arts teacher for many youth programs and organizations. She has taught at City Colleges of Chicago, The Art Institute – Chicago, and National Louis University. Johnetta created a course researching and teaching feminism and hip-hop.
