SkyART received a grant of $67,000 from the Neighborhood Opportunity Fund to expand our Sculpture Studio!! That means more room for more participants and bigger sculptures.  SkyART was one of 33 small businesses and organizations on Chicago’s South and West sides that were chosen to receive shares in $5 million worth of grant money to strengthen the commercial corridors on Chicago’s South, Southwest and West Sides. Executive Director Sarah Ward was a guest on the Morning Shift show on NPR’s local affiliate WBEZ to talk about what SkyART plans to do with the grant! Listen to her interview here.
