SkyART’s board chair provides guidance and support to the Executive Director (and other staff as appropriate) in various areas, especially board management and institutional development. Other board members also provide guidance and support to specific areas of operation, including budget development, fundraising, community outreach, and program development. Board members commit to an annual give or get commitment that varies in amount depending on capacity from $500 to $2,500, which can be fulfilled through cash and in-kind donations, or direct service. The board is an ambassador for our organization, articulating our mission to others and enhancing our public image. Board members serve renewable three-year terms.
