Celebrating our 20th anniversary with virtual I Heart Art 2021 was a huge success! We made our $200,000 goal for our second location, SkyART West in Humboldt Park!

For the past two decades, SkyART has provided free, safe, and open spaces where people are empowered, nurtured, and connected through art. Over the past 20 years, SkyART has grown to serve more than 3,500 youth on Chicago’s South Side every year. Unfortunately, neighborhoods on the West Side face similar challenges of historic inequity, poverty, and violence. SkyART wants to change that by opening SkyART West, a blank studio to serve the youth of Westside communities, like Humboldt Park, Austin, North Lawndale, and beyond. As we grow, we are fired up about providing accessible art programs to change more kids’ lives across the city.

We hope you enjoy looking back on the impact on youth’s lives for the past 20 years and what the future holds as we expand to our studio located on the West Side! We are still on the journey to raise $200,000 for SkyART West! Join us in making an impact on youth’s lives on the South and West sides of Chicago.
